ABOUT Isabella
Isabella Diaz has always been passionate about music. She enjoys creating through songwriting, production, and live instruments. Isabella finds the interpretive power of music to be truly remarkable and hopes her music resonates with listeners in ways that reflect their personal experiences.
Isabella loves performing on stage and at local venues. She feels most fulfilled when spending time in her home studio, experimenting with different sounds, playing guitar and piano, and writing original songs.
The singer-songwriter-producer has been writing music since childhood. She released her debut single "How Many Hearts" in 2020. This was followed by the emotional ballad titled "Come Back Some Day." In 2021, Isabella released the Pop/R&B anthem "Wannabe." In Summer 2022, "Disguise" was released - and it is a must-have for your summertime beach playlist! The music video for her fifth single "Despite the Distance" was filmed in NYC, Isabella's favorite city.
Isabella's creative process
Isabella is inspired by societal issues, her own experiences, and the experiences of others in her life. Some days, she writes piano ballads on her keyboard; other days, she creates R&B-style guitar riffs and record her ideas in her home studio. Other times, she begins with a beat and blends the composition using atmospheric textures and emotional synthesizers, adding lyrics as a final touch. Isabella thinks of songwriting as a language, often explaining, "Music communicates in ways that words alone cannot touch."
the album
In 2023, Isabella released "Optimistic". The colorful and flashy music video was filmed in New York and is out now on YouTube. Later, she released "Self-Reflective" - a Pop/Rock track with electric guitar and upbeat drums. Isabella's flirtatious synth-Pop single "Cologne" was released in March of 2024, and her debut album "Trapped In Time" was released on all platforms on June 28th of that year. The album features a compilation of works that span her time from high school to college, evoking themes of love, evolution, and realization. The music is heartfelt as it is energizing.
